Added on: 7 November 2011

Tickets are selling fast for an evening of musical entertainment at Beer Mariners Hall on Friday 18th November.  Available from Beer Village Shop, tickets are just £12.50 and the evening is raising funds for BBC Radio Devon Air Ambulance Appeal and Macmillan Cancer Support.

Presented by Emily Miller Music, talented artistes Andy Eastwood and Lucia Matisse share a background of theatre, cabaret, , singing, dancing and all things variety.  Andy, an accomplished musician playing ukulele, banjo, violin and guitar, has travelled the world and performed in many of Britain’s most prestigious theatres; whilst Lucia, who has played the lead in a European tour of Boogie Nights, has her own vocal act playing tribute to many of her idols including Dusty Springfield, Doris Day, Connie Francis and Brenda Lee.

Together, Andy and Lucia have teamed up to present The Oldies Are The Best, a mix of all your  favourites from years gone by.  Emily Miller, organiser of the musical extravaganza, hopes that the evening will be a huge success and will also generate much needed funds.  Emily explained, “I have chosen these two charities as I feel that they both help people in their own unique way.”
