Long term celebrity supporter Jennie Bond has well and truly come up trumps again for Devon Air Ambulance Trust. Jennie, who lives in Devon with her husband Jim appeared on the celebrity version of the popular ‘The Chase’ game show last weekend.
Jennie has never been backward at coming forward in raising funds for the Charity she feels passionate about. This has varied from eating fish eyes and being buried in a coffin full of rats in “I’m a Celebrity Get me Out of Here!”, to putting herself through general knowledge hell on quiz shows such as Celebrity Family Fortunes, and more lately The Chase.
Jennie said: “The great thing about being in the public eye is to be able to appear on game shows such as The Chase and support the charities that are important to me, my family and friends. I was incredibly stupid on this latest show but, thanks to the rest of the team, I came away with £20,000 for Devon Air Ambulance Trust – which makes it all worthwhile!”
Heléna Holt, Chief Executive of Devon Air Ambulance Trust said: “On behalf of everyone at Devon Air Ambulance Trust I would like to say a big thank you to Jennie for her continued support, which is very much appreciated and congratulate her and the rest of the celebrity team who appeared on The Chase. To be able to raise the profile of the Charity on national tv, as well as receiving such a big cash donation really does make a huge difference.”
