It is Farmhouse Breakfast Week at The Bulstone in Branscombe 22 to 28 January 2012

Added on: 16 January 2012

Branscombe’s family friendly hotel, The Bulstone, is opening its farmhouse kitchen to breakfast lovers during Farmhouse Breakfast Week in order to raise money for the Royal British Legion and Devon’s Air Ambulance.

Every morning (8.30-10.30) throughout the week the hotel’s Keystone restaurant (run by owner Judith Monaghan who is famed for her home cooking), will be preparing a full English Breakfast, some of the proceeds of which will go to the two charities.   Breakfasts will cost £9.50 for a full English Farmhouse and £12.50 for as much as you can eat.

In addition, the Keystone will be hosting a Burns Night Supper on Wednesday 25th January complete with a piped in haggis and a three course meal with wines.  The cost of the Burns Night supper is £25 per head and again, donations will be made to Devon Air Ambulance and the Royal British Legion.

For dinners wishing to take full advantage of Burns Night, the hotel is also offering a dinner, bed and breakfast package of £125 for two people sharing a room (£62.50 pp).

‘Breakfast has always been a highlight for us at the Keystone Restaurant,’ comments Kevin Monaghan owner of the Bulstone Hotel, ‘so we are delighted to be celebrating Farmhouse Breakfast Week and raising money for two of our favourite charities.’

Bookings for breakfast and the Burns Night supper can be made in advance by calling the hotel on 01297 680446.
