Debbie's Story

Debbie wrote in to tell us her story.
She told us 'I was out riding my horse, and I fell off. I felt a sharp pain in my head and felt very sick.'
'The Air Ambulance was called, as I hit my head quite hard (whilst - w
ait for it - I was riding without a hat!). You would not believe I sell riding hats for a living!
'I don't remember a great deal but thank you to everyone who looked after me, and got me to Frenchay Hospital. I am one of the lucky ones, I came away with the minimum of injuries, but it makes you realise just how important safety is, and how wonderful it is to have the Air Ambulance. A HUGE thank you for all you did and do every day!'
