Devon Air Ambulance Trust (DAAT) is delighted once again to be working in partnership with Devon based company the ATASS Group, on a brand new venture.
Capturing Devon is the Charity’s photographic competition, the theme of which is celebrating Devon, whether that’s at work, at rest or at play. The photos do not have to include the helicopters in the composition.
The Charity is encouraging younger photographers to get involved, with an under 13s and a 14-18 ages categories. Prizes for this include a workshop/photoshoot with a professional photographer, as well as their photo being made into a canvas print. The other categories are general over 18s and professional photographers, with first prize being £500 of vouchers for photographic equipment for each of these categories.
Heléna Holt, Chief Executive of DAAT said ‘We would like to thank the ATASS Group for their continued support of the Charity. We are very excited about this new project.’
She added ‘The winning 12 photos will be put together to make a 2013 calendar with the images celebrating all that is good and great in Devon, as well as raising funds to keep Devon’s Air Ambulances flying.’
Sam Scott, PR and Sponsorship Co-ordinator for the ATASS Group said ‘We are delighted to support DAAT in this their inaugural Photography competition and we hope it will lead the way for a longstanding photography competition for many years to come. We’re also very excited to see how the entrants will demonstrate the ‘best Devon has to offer!’
