Mitch from Seahorse in Dartmouth provided the starter of mussels with bay and chilli, Peter has produced a vegetarian main course of herb crepes with sweet potato, goats cheese and a tomato saffron sauce and the all important dessert of crème brulee with exotic fruit dice, whilst James and Chris Tanner devised a main course of ‘Maple baked’ Pork loin with black pudding, apple mash and cider sauce. Matt Woodley's Dip in the Sea - 10 June 2010
BBC Radio Devon\'s Good Morning Devon presenter took a dip in the sea in order to raise funds for the Appeal on 10th June 2010.
Matt, had a few weeks earlier reported that he would not go in the sea, and Torbay Mayor Nick Bye advised that he had been swimming in the sea since a small boy, and he would.
Afterwards, Matt realised that he needed to put his money where his mouth was and challenged listeners to raise £500 via Justgiving, and he would take a dip, complete with Victorian bathing suit! In fact Matt has raised online and offline in the region of £1,250! Well done Matt!
Fantastic listener Mo Silvester came along and presented Matt with an amazing big donation.
If you would like to follow in Matt\'s footsteps and take a swim in the Torbay sea, why not take part in our ASA Agatha Christie Sea Swim on 19th September? More details here.
