We rely greatly on our supporters to put on fundraising events in aid of the charity.

In fact we don't organise that many events as such ourselves, but we are able to provide a lot of back up support from our experienced community fundraising and public relations team.

Sponsorship

Do you fancy jumping out of a plane, or sitting in a bath of custard, to name just a few ideas?  Or have you always fancied taking part in a fun run?  Why not choose to raise sponsorship for the charity, whilst doing it?

Or if you would like to challenge yourself to take part in the Royal Marines Commando Challenge visit www.commandochallenge.co.uk   - it's the only opportunity that a civillian will get to undertake the gruelling Royal Marines assault course.  This event takes place every October, although there is a new Tactical Challenge also taking place every April.

We are able to provide sponsor packs with all that you need, including forms, or why not use the fantastic www.justgiving.com   online sponsorship system?  We're already registered and all you need to do is complete your details and select us as the charity you want to support - it's that easy!

Collection Boxes

We have almost 5,000 red collection boxes around the county, in all sorts of places!  This varies from post offices, village stores, to pubs and clubs.

In 2008 these boxes, which mainly contain loose change, raised the charity a staggering £202,000!  That's a lot of change!
