Charity Shop facts and fiqures

Our Charity Shops
The Devon Air Ambulance Trust's charity shops are going from strength to strength, with 10 shops in total across the county.

These shops alone during 2008 took over £633,00 (gross).

Chrissie Peel, the charity's Retail Manager said, "We are committed to our shops, as they are an essential part of our fundraising.  They represent the charity in the community and it's important we keep the charity, service and work undertaken as high profile as possible.  The shops sell good quality second-hand clothing, bric-a-brac, furniture and books, as well as the charity's own range of branded goods.  There really is something for everyone!"

If you have a large number of items which you would like to donate to the charity's shops to raise funds, please ring Bob on 07944 392664.

Please note that we are unable to accept white goods such as fridges, freezers, cookers, nor televisions.  We are able to accept furniture but soft furnishings (ie sofas) must have a fire retardant certificate/label.

If you have clothing that you feel is not good enough for us to sell, please don't bin it.  Put it in a bag marked 'rags' as we receive good money for clothes that are ragged.

Other items we can accept include:-

Books
CDs
DVDs
Bric a Brac
Good quality clothing
